Read before answering Journal Prompts

All prompts must be well thought out and must provide evidence of connection to the reading. I am looking for the connection as well as the understanding of the text. Each response is worth 5 points--50 points possible for the journals. You may respond to something your classmates write for an additional 3 points up to 21 points. These responses also must show connection to the text. If you simply write something as an original post you will receive at least 2 points, for a response to other's writing you will receive 1 point.
